My Mom found this Recordable Storybook and it is a wonderful present for anyone who lives far away. I am glad we have this recording of my Dad reading a book and I am sure Blaise will cherish it for years to come. He asks to read/hear it and points to the picture of Grandpa that my Mom taped into the book of my Dad reading books to Blaise last Christmas.

That is so adorable! What a cool thing he'll always treasure. Blaise looks so much like you in these videos.
So sweet! I love how he keep looking at the pic! I think he thinks Uncle Lynn is in the book, looking for him in the back. : ) The kids have gotten a kick out of the videos, they love to laugh at them!
I never thought of that angle, that maybe he is looking for (a mini) Grandpa. This was the first time he listened to it and was pretty perplexed, now he seems to get it (within the realm of "get it" possibility). Glad you are liking the videos!
Just in the way he looks at the back of the book, where the recording is, and then goes back to the pic of Uncle Lynn, like he recognizes him and the voice but can't tell "where" he is. Whenever the kids "talked" on the phone, they were somewhat scared of it, not knowing where the voice was coming from. The kids adore babies and think they are the funniest people to watch. Hence the laughter, anything Blaise does is hilarious!
Something about this video made me tear up...I think it's because I realized that your parents live far away and don't get to see Blaise that much, and this is such a sweet way to be a part of his life. Hello, hormones!
I am so surprised how clear your dad's voice is in that book. It sounds like he was right in the room...or in the book. Ha!
I love love this recordable story book! How awesome that Blaise gets to hear grandpa read him a story...and I'm with Kristy, it made me emotional too! Love you :)
